Voluntary Days Pertamina

Indonesian Ocean Pride Founder Hamish Daud was invited to the voluntary days event hosted by Pertamina, where he was invited to talk about Indonesian Ocean Pride.

In front of an audience of Pertamina employees as well as secondary school students, Hamish explained that volunteering isn’t only done only just be helping others directly but there are a lot of actions that are easily done such as collecting rubbish and other litter to even opting to use a reusable water bottle as well as opting for reusable shopping bags.

Indonesian Ocean Pride has encouraged and help push Pertamina’s commitment to reduce their single use plastic usage by as much as 26 kilotons by prohibiting the use of plastic bottles inside their offices as part of company policy
